We have known Phil and
Jackie socially for several years and even though we were aware of their
business we didn't really think about asking them to quote when we decided
to update our kitchen - we live over 100 miles apart!
However, when Phil heard he asked if he could quote -
and we are glad that he did. His advice on the finish of the units - acrylic
to deal with the constant heat from our AGA - the white goods and the final
design was brilliant.
The work was completed in just over a week and
included gutting the old kitchen, laying new floor tiles, fitting new units
and white goods. As you can see from the photographs the finished kitchen is
great. We would not hesitate to recommend Kingfisher Kitchens to anybody
contemplating engaging them to do any work.
"We chose to use Phil and Kingfisher Kitchens for our new kitchen because we wanted one company to project manage the whole process. There quote was slightly better than another quote but what swayed us was the promise to be in an out in a short period of time with the minimum of mess. Because we choose to start the fitting in the middle of the week we faced a situation on Friday night that we might not have water in the kitchen over the weekend. One phone call to Phil and he arranged to get the plumber, Paul, to make sure we had water over the weekend for the washing machine. That sort of service is hard to put a price on it and even though it was my choice to start midweek they pulled out all the stops to help. The completed kitchen looks superb and the quality of the work has been superb.
Since our kitchen has been completed Kingfishers have done my mother's kitchen and bathroom and has refitted the kitchen in my wife's school and again within budget and the whole finish is great"
